The Animal School
I think this satire was somewhat true to an extent but they stretched it a little. All of the animals were forced to take every class. This isn't the case in college, we get to choose which classes we take according to our major for the most part. We may be forced to take some general education classes to be well rounded but nothing too extreme. For example, a music major isn't going to be forced to take anatomy and physiology. In the fable, some of the animals began doing worse in some classes because they were focusing more on other classes but that's where time management and being able to juggle multiple things at once comes in. This story relates more to high school than college. In high school, you are forced to take classes you wanted nothing to do with or weren't good at.
Honest College Ad
This satire is funny because it pretty much tells you what's true about college that the ads don't tell you about. It's coming straight from the students at college. They're kind of shining a light on the negatives of college while looking happy because that's what the actors in the commercials look like.
